Someone asked me if there was a way to add public holidays to your outlook calendar, which would save them manually creating them
This sounded like a useful thing to do for myself, so I had a quick look on the internet and found a great blog post from the Microsoft Outlook team.
I will talk through the instructions for Outlook 2010, if you want instructions for Outlook 2008 then click on the link above
1. Go to File -> options
2. choose Calendar
3. Click the Add Holidays button and you then get to choose the country
It also has a useful default reminder setting, which is good if you want to set a standard amount of time for the reminder to pop up rather than the 15 minutes.
